Overview

This document describes the installation and usage of the "Extended HTML Import Module" for OpenCms 7 or higher.

The Extended HTML Import Module assures that HTML files that are imported are converted to pages in the VFS (i.e. will have an OpenCms template applied) and also all HTML "href" links in the imported files are processed and adjusted where required. Additional files, like images or binary data, are imported into the specified OpenCms gallery and all links are adjusted.

The HTML Files to import should be well formed as described in the W3C standard. Have a look at the  user guide to learn about the features of the import module.
